63 day pregnant femalr first heat - Page 1

hello I have an American Bully president first heat at 1 years old is now 63 days pregnant full of puppies it looks like it has drop down. her uterus seems to be dilating correctly she's breathing kind of Everly on and off painting.... her temperature has been such a rating and hit 99.2 earlier it ranges from 99.5 2105... she's peeing a lot and most the time just resting and wanting to be near me... the tips are formed today is the first time I seen a little bit of milk to come out... can someone help me and give me a comment on this is OK..... I took her to a check check up last week that said she looked good and that she could do the pups.no xray

Are you saying you bred a dog on her first heat? And your now expecting puppies but you didn't bother to x-ray to see how many to expect?
Don't expect a bunch of congradulation. Because your doing this wrong.
Hope for the dog's sake eveything goes well.

You got homes lined up for all these pups? Or are they just going to go to the pound, which is already crammed with pit bulls, most of which won't find homes, due to the prejudice against the breed?

I hope you'll think this through before you let her breed again, and hopefully get her spayed after this litter is weaned.

Please tell me you have a whelping area and things ready.  Also that you have either read or had a vet show you what to look for during whelping to know when to get to a vet immediately.

Day 63 is a bit late to start asking questions.

I started a post a couple hours ago and deleted it...I'm speechless. Poor damn female and pups.

Are you sure you have the days right? Give or take two days one of my females did this her last litter the day i was going into for an emergency c section she had them. Whats the height on your female? I use to have alot of friends into bullys. Its hit or miss with some needing c sections most not. I meaIve seen them as short as 15" tall do fine but some needing c section. Have you noticed any discharge? Most likely she will have them fine if not by 65 days get her to the vet.

Sounds like she is in the first stage of labour.  I hope you have gone to a vet by now.  How do you know she can deliver the pups without an Xray?
Especially this type of dog....

I would put on a pair of sterile drugs and open up the vulva to see if you can see a sac... especially if she seems to be in active labour.  Its hard to give advice when someone is unexperieinced.  If I knew my female was in labour and wasnt producing a pup I would want to check the birthing canal... May be stuck.
