My problem is with the direction of the whole breed. Extreme prey drive. Very little to no suspicion bred just for sport ect ect. These are not protection dogs, but damn they do a routine and are easy to handle. I require a Sch. (protection dog) not a toy. Most are toys. Even in LE  the first question asked. Is he social? What is this overwhelming desire for people to have others love on and hug their dog? I do not require a social dog I need a dog trained well enough not to bite for no reason.

The breed as a whole is weak and in real life useless.  I am looking for a female that is extreme. Hard, aggressive, mean, civil, non-social, man stopping beast of a dog. Many ask me why. For one I can use that type of dog and 2nd I want to breed some of those traits into the breed for others who require real protection dogs.

Most think their GSD will protect them because of their love for the dog or the dog loves them or they do bite work on a sleeve or a suit or even muzzle work, but most will not.

As far as LE dogs go I know there are some real good or even great dogs out there, but I took a "bad ass" mali out of the back of a cop car the other day and did OB with him. The handler just stood there with his mouth open. Some of the biggest shit dogs I have seen in the last 6 years are in Police cars.

So please tell me about the young dog most can't handle that scares the shit out of you every time you get near it. I have a job for that kind of dog.  I get calls, I mean a lot of calls from people that say "my puppies will be exactly what you want"  but no one has proven to me the dog or bitch that is anything I would be intrested in, Much less previous litters of working dogs anywhere near the quality I require.

If I breed a dog it will be to protect those that need it.

I do not know a breeder that breeds hard tough real working dogs. But I do know a lot that say they do. I have yet to see them. There are some that produce some but not many that I have found. But in all reality most can not read a dog and if they find a true hard one they do not have the ability to handle such a dog and call it crazy or unsafe and have it put down. But with that said, just produce a littler of man stoppers and you might not be able to sell them.

Gardefense. I know they don't to IPO. But great dogs, and much more than just good at sport (KNPV).

Right here in the good old USA, you got Carlos Rojas;
Jagermeister does some pretty good stuff too. Not sure if he fits all the criteria listed, but he does desrve a mention.
Anyone looking for a nice working dog can't go wrong taking a look at their website to see what he does.

@ paul garrison, all policedog vendors today have the first question, are they social, the policedoghandlers used to be dogpeople who wanted a job with a dog, nowadays most are police greenhorns who NEVER handled a dog before, when I have serious dogs the only option is to sell them to israel for antiterrorist dogs .

because of the simple supplie and demand rules people will offer to vendors just that what they are willing to take, I have a German shepherd male here that attacked his owner seriously his owner titled several dogs before ,brother to a top KNPV GSD  , who will take such a dog and give it to a rookie doghandler

furthermore today almost nobody trains dogs like 15 to 20 years ago, much less conflict and letting the dogs grow and get out of control , and if there are dogs like what you are looking for they will not end up being advertized for sale
