Hi Everybody,
I'm going to be getting Ava's hips and elbows x-rayed for prelims in a couple of months and I'm thinking about getting her back done at the same time.
I know they don't have a rating for back evaluations but I'd like to have a baseline for future reference.
I was wondering how many of you have considered this or have had this done?
Also, I had Cisco tested for DM through AKC but want to try a different lab this time....one that does the longhair and coat color testing. I can't remember the name of the lab that most of you guys used and would really appreciate it if you could post the name or link.

I did Ice's DM test thru Animal Genetics. They test for ALOT of different things as well.

I was happy with Ice's xrays.... poor guy has Pano pretty bad now. Not doing any training right now. He is really sore... the left front leg is more sore than the right...poor dude.. My first GSD had Pano BAD when he was young.

Jyl: Sorry to hear about Ice, poor guy.
Cisco had pano about that same age also...thankfully not to bad but I still took him in for x-rays to try and figure out what was wrong at the time.
No worries, I'm horrible about stuff like that also. Hope you guys can make it. It would be fun :)
