I'm originally from Iowa and actually didn't realize this was in place. Quite ironic to say the least. Looks like the article was written in July, 2009?

Yeah that's a good one. Where i live the #1 dog with the most bites that sends people to the hospitol is the Golden Retreiver. Chows, pit bulls, rotties and shepherds didn't even come close to this breed of killer. :p

Wow, yes karma is a B___ch!! I have a 10 yr old pit I rescued, and she's been the sweetest dog I've ever had!

I feel for his family and for Jake; I only hope he thinks long and hard about how Pit Bulls' families feel about HIS previous actions...especially since THEIR dogs didn't even bite anyone to be deemed vicious. Sad and oh, so ironic.
