i have been wondering for some time, what exactly, makes a dog, a "world class" dog? is it the parents having titles, good bloodlines, training; what?

People often use the term incorrectly as a hook to sell puppies to naive buyers.

The term should be reserved for dogs who have competed in international competition.  Has represented their country in "World" championships (Show or Work)

I agree,
catchy little label that means nothing, sounds good though doesn't it.

I took a little trip to a produce market a little time ago. More than one provider was calling out loud to the shoppers '' fresh fish for sale''. No one was shouting '' old fish for sale''. Do your research.

How is "dual purpose" the same as "legendary" or "world class"? If a dog has dual purpose potential, then you advertise it as such. I'm confused.

Some of the above adjectives are ok if they can be proven. A pup is not '' world class'' as it has not been  proofed. A pup might be from world competitive parents which can be proved. duel purpose can be shown. A legendary dog might be like ''big foot'' which is fiction. Do the scratch and sniff test to all advertising! If it smells like old fish do not buy it.
