Hi,
So much negativity out there about bad breeders I wanted to add some positive information for anyone looking for a dog. We have an outstanding pup, now 7 months, from Spitzenhund Kennels. He is a Bomber son. We looked for months and at many dogs, driving hours on end. Finally found our way to Spitzenhund. Actually, tracked down Bomber and this is his US home. Anyway, our dog is everything they said he would be and more. He is going to be well known in due time! My point? If you really want to talk to a kennel that is honest and top notch quality Spitzenhund is the place to go! They breed for quality, not quantity and are nothing short of a pleasure to deal with. We are 110% satisfied with our guy!

There are lot's of reputable breeders but only the bad ones get the attention.
You've mentioned this kennel before.
 

I know, the bad ones get the attention. The quality breeders deserve the attention. I, for one, appreciate the time, money and energy the good breeders put into their kennels. So, since buyers are warned of bad ones, I hope they won't get as discouraged as we were if they can see something positive.

I'm one who needs to see it in person, regardless of what I've heard.
Show me the dog not the papers.
 

You are better off that way! We went to see above 5 dogs before getting Fritz. Had we gone off the pedigree we would have stopped at #1 and been disappointed.

I've been lucky for the most part, but I've also gotten screwed, once very badly, but it was my fault for not being thurough.
