An Ivan Balabanov seminar will be held at the Creature Comfort Inn, located in Strasburg, Virginia on the dates April 27th, 28th, 29th. The Inn is a little over an hour outside Washington DC and is a state of the art boarding, training and grooming facility with 2 onsite Schutzhund fields, local tracking fields and 2 former national racked national level competitors with over 60 years combined experience training sport, working and companion dogs. The owners specialize in 1 on 1 Schutzhund training and boarding style training for working dogs (competition, personal protection and SAR). There is extensive parking onsite and local amenities include dining, hospitality and entertainment located in Winchester, Virginia only 10 minutes away. The event is being hosted by the Central Maryland Schutzhund Club of the United Schutzhund Clubs of America. Working slots have been limited to 12 openings and are currently filled pending receipt of funds although standby applications are being accepted. Due to the limited number of handler slots (typical Balabanov seminars are 15 or more…) the 3 day registration fee is $350. Spectator openings are unlimited and are $50 dollars per day.
