It was bound to happen, Max and Baron got into it.  I have taken care of the situation.  Poor Max did not win.  Now we are left with unsightly scars on his face.

Has anyone used Manuka honey to help dog wounds heal with minimal scarring? What was your results?

Sad as it didn't have to happen.

Scars add character....lol
My black female Isabelle has white hair that came in where the scars are on her face.
My male Indy has a split ear now where Isabelle fish hooked him.
Maddy has a knot on her forehead where she was sewn up once.

Be careful what you use on wounds, and there's no magic cure that I know of for scars, depends on how they heal.

I could have had Indy's ear sewn up but it was a weekend and would have been double the price, he looks like a real junkyard dog now...

I call Isabelle freckles now, among other nick names mostly Labradoodle.

I would probably try vetericyn (gel I like best)  to clean;  then on scars try coconut oil a couple times per day and see what happens.  There's also Vitamin E oil, Bio Oil, Olive Oil, etc.  Lemon Balm extract...will help to heal;  what stage is the wound at?  New, a few weeks old or older??   Nan

"LOL... shit happens they don't live in a bubble here at all."

Sounds like something Michael Vick would say.

Happened last week.  Wounds are small and are mostly healed; none required stitches.

Lol, Yes, Two Moons.  No bubble here.  I was kind of surprised at the fight, as Max is very submissive to Baron.  Baron has always and will always be the alpha to the dogs.   Max is getting close to 2 years and is suspect Baron felt a bit threatened.  They are permanently separated now.

I actually suspected this fight would have happened between my 2 females first, but they are as best of friends as ever.
