Hi all,
I thought I'd share some pics of a long coat I have. She is text book, and I know that many times there are people wondering if they have coats in a litter, and what signs to look for. Often times the pups don't make it so easy for us to see it, but she shows the signs well, so I thought I would share and maybe it could be helpful to some people in the future. :-)

Next if you look closely you can see long hair on the toes, past the toenails, feathering on ears, and
even "terrier" type look on muzzle although the lighting is poor.

Making pics larger, as it's hard to see details:

Okay STILL a bit hard to see! To make pics bigger, after it's uploaded, but before pressing 'ok', look at the boxes that give the length and height. If you change the top number, the bottom number will resize automatically to keep the pic in proportion!
A good size is 400-500 pixels.

Yeah, nice thought but way too small to tell. Try uploading them again, Sheesh.
I can tell at 2 weeks in mine, and then not again until later. Sometimes they can be deceptive. They have a look to their faces that is unmistakable.

Those are a little better. Try to take some in a few days when her eyese open so people can see the difference in the face- my old friend used to say "you can tell at 2-3 weeks because their eyes look small" and I thought it sounded silly, then I had one and sure enough, his eyes DID look small that week.

Thanks Jenny.
Though the actual point of this particular thread was to point out the very earliest signs that one can see, these being the earliest that I have seen so far, so I thought I would share with those who have not seen it before.
