I told you, these pups have a huge burden, to end the ignorance where blues are concerned.
It is proof that the color comes from well bred, well thought out breedings. That just because the color disqualifies from some events, they still are every bit a pure bred, fully functioning, German Shepherds.
Not everyone that has blue genes, has shit dogs. Mine also were from well known, WGSl and DDR dogs.

LOL, Joni...you're assuming other people agree my breedings are well-thought and that these pups fall under "well-bred." . LOL  Ya know, not everyone agrees with my thought process! Shocking, I know.

There are people who think I shouldn't have posted them, that by posting them, it's like I'm bragging about them and giving other people the idea that it's ok to breed for blues. Now, if I didn't post them, then later I'd be accused of "hiding them" like I have been in the past...even though their owners posted them and like 3 of them were people's avatars, LMAO. You're damned if you do and damned if you don't, so I figured might as well put them up for everyone to see they DO happen on occasion. Why hide them? They happened, they're here, and they're nice puppies. I think it'd be dishonest to not post them and post the others. The others have the potential to carry for blue. They can be tested to know for sure, of course. People should know that, imo. Full disclosure and all that jazz...;-)  Maybe this way, someone else down the road won't be shocked at 1am whelping pups! Wink Smile

There have 'had to have been" so many more blue dogs born, than we will EVER know. To hide them and deny them, is, as is my favorite word when it comes to blues, "ignorant".
Over the years, people that appear to be otherwise, intelligent and educated, have made such ridicules statements like, they are not real German Shepherds, they should be culled,(not just out of sight out of mind),nothing more than mutts....and so on and so on.
Yes, it is no secret I am intrigued and infatuated with the blue shepherds, and, in the past I did intentionally breed for them.
i was ignorant and uneducated concerning the standard of the breed. As an uneducated person, I did not see myself doing anything wrong.
I had nice solid healthy pups, that grew into nice solid healthy dogs. Everyone loved them.
They came from some of the best pedigrees, I knew of, at the time. Did I claim them to be rare, Hell No, I didn't know they were rare. Did I charge more for them, No, I did not.
So, as those that have been around for awhile know, I went down kicking and screaming, how proud I was of my blue dogs.
Those pups jenn has now are gorgeous. There is No denying that. Jenn did her due diligence, researching trying to get the BEST dogs, she could produce, with all the attributes, a well bred German Shepherd should posess.
It would be a real shame that the color of their hair stands in the way of greatness. I really would love for them pups to show what they are made of, gorgeous, healthy German Shepherds.
I love them, and still am jealous.

Absolutely not. I did have something to do with taking it off being a sticky.
