Colorado is gearing up to open legalized marijuana sales on Jan. 1, 2014.
What is your K9 going to do if it is trained to sniff out this cannabinoid plant?
I would presume they will not train the K9 for this type of detection, because
you would have the dog indicate every (presumptuous) adult walking by. Of
course, you would have to 'allow' the dog to indicate.
However, my entrepreneurship mind is activated, it would be a good thing to still
train and detect for this illegal plant for other State's. You would have access to
this plant and you wouldn't even have to worry about it being illegal or arrested
if you are a Colorado resident. It only requires a smidgen of cannabinoids to have
a canine train and detect. Than you can sell this $10,000 whiz to surrounding State's.
(Before they all jump on the 'spacy' manifest-destiny wagon!)
I know in Washington, they will 'open-it-up' in mid-2014.

I will be waiting for these spiked-collar Chihuahua
busters to come knocking in my state if someone
will take up my buzzinuss plan. (Hey-I can be your
manager-PM me). I can just imagine the turmoil
for a trained dog in CO., just anticipating and eagerly
awaiting to bust someone, and all of a sudden the 'smell'
is everywhere. Some will probably end up as OCD,
pawing endlessly, some will end up... .
