me and my dog have been attacked by large dogs a few times, the last time one came flying at us like 40 miles an hour and just smashed into us, my gsd flipped it over and made it scream bloody murder and then the dog ran off wimpering.

Before this my dog is good with dogs but if one trys to fight her my dog turns into hyde and just trys to tear it apart. For working dogs bred with aggression have you seen this before? She can be with a group of well balanced dogs but if one decides to snap at her or pick a fight with her she will just hammer hard into them.

I never got in trouble because I did not put her in a situation where it would be her fault. So the owners usually say sorry to me. In these fights she totally dominates the other dog to the point of making them shiver shake scream and they never forget her if they see her again.  Like she puts them in shock even if there is no blood. The other dog always starts it tho.

Mine is great with pups and well balanced dogs but if a strange snarky dogs goes after her this happens.  Should i muzzle her in public? When she fights another dog its not a fight she just distroys them like she is fighting a stuffed animal the other dog acts totally help less.  She has a great trainer also. But i am worried or dont know how common it is but would she kill another dog?

soon as i get involved into the fight and yell or grab her the good thing is mine will STOP asap and let go.

My dog has been in a scrap with a great dane, wienmer, giant shuzner, doberman, and ridgeback sorry for my spelling.  She even pulled down 2  great pyr that got on her peroperty.  Once she was attacked by 2 fox hounds and put holes all over them.

She has dog friends both big and small she loves and never shows any aggression or even a hint at being a bully. One of her friends is a disabled dog that has 3 legs and is small.  She lets the dog jump all over her and never cares. Thats why pple call her dr jekell miss hyde

The outcome was always the same they get snarky or try to do something to her and then she just clobbers them and makes them scream, I dont get why she is even able to take down another large dog so easy like its a rag doll they are the same size as her.  Is it czech genes or something that makes them better fighters? its not like they are dog fighting dogs.

I'd be wondering how in the hell I let my dog get in so many dog fights.

I don't want to make assumptions here but purely from your tone in your posts you seem almost PROUD about the "fights" your dog has gotten into. Not sure why any sane person would be proud about their "normally friendly GSD" getting in that many fights, but I have to agree with Zdog, why even ALLOW that much scrapping? Better question, what happens when your dog DOESN'T pin the other dog, and YOUR dog gets the tar beating out of it or possibly killed? Just doesn't sound safe, and if you have a great trainer as you mentioned, I'd be telling them this as well. As they see the dog in person, they would be better to guide you than any of us, pure strangers on an internet forum.

Well I would probably talk to my trainer about this problem and try to solve it.  I think without solution you will be headed for big,big trouble.  I am not saying the other dogs don't deserve it, why are they able to get to her at all: people are law suit crazy so I would be very careful and not let her provoke this behavior, not saying it is totally bad , BUT,  you could be looking a AC confescating her from you and spending time in jail if she attacks  the wrong dog at the wrong time;  AND this is not a good representation of the breed that needs to be seen in public eyes.

And of course it is possible for a dog to kill another dog.  YES...

Keep her on lead around other dogs? How is this rocket science. Be responsible, not all dogs are cupcakes.

When a dog charges you, normally some gravel does a fine job or turning it around.

You're damn lucky you haven't been sued or slapped with a muzzle order!

I am still hoping to get a muzzle order lifted from my dog, a rescue, which attacked one of my OWN dogs on MY property! The dog she bit then turned and bit the person holding his leash, which is why animal control got involved, and I was ordered to muzzle her.

Of course, this means she has to be confined behind a 6 ft. tall fence, handled only by someone 16 years or older, and muzzled at all times when not in the enclosed area or indoors. It also means I have not been able to to take her to certain training venues.

I heard recently of a Yorkie that was accused of biting someone's dog on an elevator. Even though neither dog nor owner had a single mark on them, the dog was still slapped with a muzzle order, and labelled a 'dangerous dog'

You can't be too careful these days, and I can't believe you haven't taken steps to prevent these fights from happening!

once bitten, twice shy. I would stay away from other dogs with this GSD. When I find myself in a situation where my dog is in jeopardy, I make my dog go to the down position, and fend the other dog away. I have ''faked'' throwing a rock at the other dog. Many times that is enough. If the other dog is not swayed by my fake i do everything in my power to protect my dog and not allow a fight. Nothing good will come out of a dog fight. Be a good  ambassador for this great breed.

I have had my GSDs attacked in my front yard (they were on leashes) by loose dogs.  Yes my dogs made mince meat out of them and the driveway looked like a slaughter house (my dogs were injury free).  I now am sooooooo careful because we have a loose dogs in the neighborhood (story for another thread).  I make sure not to set my dogs up for a confrontation and feel bad that they have to get into it if another dog comes at them aggressively.  I work hard at making sure my dogs are not dog aggressive and spend hours, days, weeks on proper dog behavior when seeing another dog (on leash and properly controlled) since their previous experiences have made them sensitive to other dogs.  One thing that made me concerned was your comment "working dogs bred for aggression".  All my experience has been that working dogs are not bred for aggression but for critical thinking.  "Bred for aggression" makes me wonder what your experience has been.

I think your full of shit flamingo,
two Great Pyrenees ?

It does sound like an abnormal amount of fighting.
Most animals will not fight to the death, but that doesn't mean they can't die from their injuries.
Not to mention vet bills.

And you have a great trainer too...imagine that.
Might wanna look for a great lawyer because I think you'll need one sooner or later.
