I think so many people use "Dog Terms" and do so everyday and understand what they're saying and meaning...but...So many people don't really under stand what is meant by these terms...I think it would be a good topic and a good post for the more experienced people to give a meaning to these terms and for the people that don't really understand what is meant to give their input and to not only tell us what terms you're not sure of but to explain what you're understanding of these are and anything else about Training...Showing...or whatever...

Terms like:

Ball Drive...

Fight Drive...

Prey Drive...

Defense Drive...

Food Drive...

Hard Dog...

You know what I think...we have created so many different "drives", we have come to the point that EVERYTHING is a "drive". My dog ate something he did not agree with a few days a go...you should have seen the shit drive he had that day.Wink Smile
On a serious note, the vast majority of these behaviors are pretty self explanatory, "hard dog" can be open for some debate, but, mention "fight drive" and everyone has their own explanation and version.
