Absolutely Vk, and you as well. If you could have been in attendance here for the party I may just have donned that turtle neck and lifted a glass of scotch ;) . Guess we'll just have to settle for a drop or two of Jack Daniel's and a toast.

i now have an excuse to pick up a bottle of JD, not like i needed much of one, don't you guys in the states drink egg-nog (spelling) this time of year ??? sounds disgusting whats in it?

Egg-nog is delish, vk4gsd--it's raw eggs, cream, milk, sugar, vanilla, and brandy/rum/whiskey [either select your favorite, or go wild and use a bit of all three], all beaten together, served ice-cold and sprinkled with nutmeg. There's thousands of recipes on the web for it, and some folks prefer to use coddled eggs for fear of salmonella, but I still stick with the family recipe. Yummy!!
Of course, you can always leave the alchohol out of it, and just use rum or brandy flavoring, or just stick with the vanilla. But where's the fun in that?

I'm not much on eggnog, but I'd get a kick outta watching you try some....lol
