Nothing uglier than a fat shepherd, your dog looks great! Do not pack on any more weight unless it is lean muscle.

His weight is ok, if he were mine I'd drop a pound or two.  I definitely would not let him gain any weight, he's good where he's at.  Nice looking dog.

Handsome boy;  I try to go by this rule of thumb:  Put both hands on the dog starting at his shoulders;  run your hands down his body and IF you can easily feel ribs right at the surface of his coat/skin then he should be at a good weight;  also nice to be able to see the last 2 ribs.  That would be a good weight for your dog.  Best of luck  with him,  Nan

Troy, you dogs is beautiful and at a good weight, no worry about being to thin, he's at a good weight. I agree, he shouldn't not have any more weight on him.
