Hello,

I am a journalist and I am investigating the tragic deaths of two police dogs in a police officer's car in Nottingham a couple of weeks ago.

If anyone has any solid information about what happened, I would be very grateful if they could contact me by email at: dan.newling@dailymail.co.uk

Thank you.  Dan Newling

We would all like to know that the person involved that left these poor dogs to die of cooking is going to go through the proper procedure in a court of law for causing suffering and death.

Let us not hear that the police are above being prosecuted for causing the perishing of dogs in their charges in such an inhumane and disgusting way - or the police who aralready calling out for dogs, shall never have another dog allowed to their care.

Joe public would have been summonsed to a court appearance  by now........  What has happened to this    "dog handler"  -  note I didnt add professional.

Totally agree Mo, Dan was phoning as many breeders as poss yesterday to try and find out details, his aim is to name - shame and get a prosecution, which for the handler would be getting off very light considering what he put those poor two dogs through!!
