It was a real fun and excitement watching this year's Indian Sieger show. What impressed me was the quality of adult female group. It was a pleasant site watching almost 25 females in the ring cometing. The competition was very stiff. This year Bred in India dogs were also noticable. Because of fair judging in some classes the dogs bred in India were give the SG1 title over Import. Thanks Ms.Van Dorssen for that. In Adult female VA Hannie team fiemereck was a clear winner followed by Nita Murrtal.
Looking at a adult male show lineup it looked like we are watching a show in Germany. Because I think first ten dogs were all imports and all german handlers. I get the feeling that in future forget bred in India dogs even Indian handlers will be a rear site to see in top 20 places. Competition was very good and worth mentioning is the venue selected. The venue really set the tone for the competition. I hope same type of venue will be selected in future. I congratulate and thank organisers for the arrangement and venue. Keep up the good work.
Above all worth mentioning is the quality of bred in India dogs has improved and overall a professional approach in breeder and exhibitors is seen.

For me Kimon a bred in India dog in top ten beating quiet a few imports is a real achievement of this Sieger show ( And yes Kimon was also handled by a Indian Handler. Jai Hind). I wish all Indian breeders same success in years to come.

I disagree entirely with sumo, the german influxin the indian dog scene is the most damaging to the dog game in india. The top bred in indias were at the bottom and the judge was very partial even speaking to the handlers in german. the only BI in the ten was because his owner is the secretary of the gsd club of india and it was told to the judge at the time of judging.Remember the top two gsd's that are bred in india were at the bottom because this is what is to be expected in the future. so much for selfless judging the import dogs were crated and kept behind in the dormitory and only brought out when the open class females were being shown.

Mr. Jumanji:
There is nothing wrong in firing the gun three times. The judge can fire the gun as many times as he/she wants to complete the character evaluation. You invited her over to judge the show, now respect her judgement. If you don't like the results, no big deal, you know the dogs, and stick with your own judgement, and breed to the dogs you like. The reason the rich people had German handlers is because they are very good at thier craft, they stay in good shape, and they have been doing it well for a long time. Being familiar with the judge is a plus and you would probably do the same thing if you were judging in a different country and you saw a familiar face who has always been associated with good dogs. If I am spending thousands of Euros to import or raise an excellent dog I will spend the money to bring in a handler/trainer who can show him/her at his best. Learn from the experience and make yourself better.

i think Hero might be right.. may times german (SV) judges don't make fair judgeing though not all of them. german judge often put a recent german import dog in a higher place than erlier german import.. i think this is the way they encourage import. local dog don't have a chance, unless the owner was a high rank local GSD national club.. (president, vice-pres, secretary, ect..) happen here..(indonesia). i'm not sure how fair and clean german BSZS is.. (both the judge and the exhibitor..) but this is what happend, german BSZS GHKLH VA3 2003 Olga v Poxdorfer-tannenhof, some how loose her toes rich colour and turn to white just a few months after she arrived here..
fortunatly, not all judge do unfair judgeing.. there still people with heart and full affection to this breed.. thank god for that..
this is my opinion, i might not correct at all..
