I apologize for asking a second time if anybody can tell me if there is a registration kennel or registry in Holland for dogs.? I bought a female Aug 16 of 06 and yet to receive her papers. I am getting very worried, they keep telling me to be patient it takes longer though Holland. Is this true? Please advise me what I might to as she is no good without papers. I forgot to check your answer if I got any response. I am concerned and thanks alot.

For the second time, yes, it is true that the German Shepherd organization in the Netherlands is VERY slow. I have pups I have had for about 9 months and I still do not have their papers. They will come as I know and trust the breeder and have had this happen many times. So you must be patient. If you can email me privately, perhaps I can have a friend check on the status of the registration. If a foreign dog was used in the mating, for example a Germany based stud, it can take a very long time. schwarzenberggsd@earthlink.net

In Holland all dogs are registered with the Raad van Beheer. www.kennelclub.nl Fax from the US: 01131 20 671 08 46 Email: info@kennelclub.nl They will be able to correspond with you in English. Yes, registration process can be very slow.

I bought a female from gonz.v tronze from john Doeland in the Netherlands, only problem is I paid Pat Beach the check, she cashed it and spent the money and said to be patient. I am not an ignornat person but I could of sold this deep pigment nice sixe femeale three times, but NO papers. I never know what to say as I deal with SV and AKC. I am so happy I came back to find somebody like you to help me and I appreciate all you can offer sire.

Foreign papers take time, especially if the papers need to be transferred to someone living in another country. Be patient. I am still awaiting paperwork to be complete on my pups born July '06. I know it will take a few more months. You will typically get papers around 1yr.

I want to thank all of you that took time to try and make me feel better. I think John can do better with a pertner that Pat Beach she seems to collect all the money for him and spends it. I have my check made out to her and cashed for this nice female. I trusted her and warned her not to screw with me as I will get her back and stop at nothing to get back at her. I feel sorry for John doing most the work as i see it. I truly appreciate the help you have offered and I will be back and let u know how things ended up for me, most likely in the rut.......lol. not funny but my kind of luck guys, have a good one

hello chickadee if you could contact me and i will fill you in on both of them not very honest people in this breed

I think I should apologize for remarks made to the two breeders Pat Beach of U.S. and John Doeland of Netherlands. I just did not understand the Holland registry taking so long, but got a photo copy of papers on the female I purchased in Aug 06. The orginials are to be sent soon, hopefully so. I do not like to put people down but never waited so long for papers and being taken by 4 Am. Breeders I thought here we go again. As so, it seems I made a bad decision to make remarks about the two breeders rather than being more patient. I want to thank you all that advised me and will let you know when I do get Winni's papers to the U.S. I did not want to harm the two breeders if they were being honest with me and so far they have been, so when I get my papers on her I will come back and let you all know that are interested. This has been totally new to me and I did jump to conclusions in accussing good people of being dishonest. I do not want to harm anybodys business when done honestly. Guess my past bad decisions kicked in and I was wrong. I am sorry that I did make remarks to post they are bad breeders, you that know them can make your own decisions as I truly do not know them personally to do this. Thanks again and I was wrong so far.

chickadee, It is very honorable of you to step forward and apologise for your previous comments. As you and I have corresponded over this issue, let me again say that in the Netherlands it can take a very long time to get papers from the Dutch Kennel CLub. I imported three pups last year in early May, I think, who had been born in February. It is now February a year later and I JUST got the papers from the Dutch Kennel Club (through the breeder) about 3 weeks ago. This is not the first time I have imported dogs from the Netherlands and especially if the breeder has not yet submitted paperwork (for example if a female was bred in Germany and then brought back to the Netherlands), just getting all the papers required of the breeder to submit to the Kennel Club can be a long wait. Then on top of that, for whatever reason, the Dutch Kennel Club takes forever. But, if the breeder you bought from is honest, you should get the papers. It probably is NOT a wise thing to import dogs from the Netherlands hoping everything will go smoothly and that one can turn around and sell a dog. This is the same scenario that often gets very murky when dogs are sold and no papers are forthcoming, for whatever reason. Good luck. And do your homework on from whom you buy dogs. I never worry about papers because I know the person I am dealing with is absolutely honest and ethical, 100% and that I will get the papers when they are ready.

Hodie, Do you know these Breeders to be honest and faithful in sending papers on dogs or pups sold? I am getting worried as it is a new year and nothing yet.? She is a nice female but not worth a darn with no papers for me to get AKC papers on her to sell or use later. I am trying hard to be patient but email me if you know anything private to tell me I would NOT repeat about these people that sell alot of puppies.
