I've got 2 4' of those... one stays in the car, one stays in the house... then a 10' one for Herding and Schutzhund when a longer leash is needed. I also have a small tab from the same place. I'd highly recommend those leashes to anyone. They are very good quality leather, super strong, and super easy/nice on your hands (so soft!). Love them!

I seem to have become a leash horder. Not sure if it's treatable.
I have 5 or 6 / six foot x 1/2" leather leashes like the ones Dawulf posted. I also have a a 6' X 1" wide for working protection if needed.
I have a 3' braided show lead that i do most of my obedience training on. I have a custom chewed 5" that my current dog designed for me that use when we go biking. Was a 6' originally. And she also made a nice handy 8" tab from the extra that i also use in agility training.
I hate messing with Nylon, but i do have a 10' cotton tracking lead.
I probably have more somewhere in a closet. And i clean and oil my leather like gun nuts clean their guns. :D

Bio-thane....
Widths:
3/8" X Waist Lead...and...15' and 30' lines for Tracking and some Ob
1/2" X 15' and 30' for Tracking
5/8" X Waist Lead
3/4" X 30' for Protection...Although I do prefer my 30' Nylon Lunge Line (Old Horse Lunge Line)
Bio-thane is the replacement for the Leather lines...Look I used Leather for over 30 years and am not easily convinced to change...but Bio-thane is a better product simply because it's impervious to Heat...Cold...Rain...Snow or any type of weather...If it gets Wet...Just wipe it off with a towel or something and it's ready for it's next use...
As I said I used Leather Leads for a long time...and do not easily change...So I got 1 Bio-thane lead and was convinced that this is what I'd use for everyday use...Then I began changing over ALL my leads...My Leather Leads are now basically put away and I haven't used them for 10 years now...
All of the Bio-thane leads...from 3/8" to 3/4" are strong enough to do anything...From Obedience to Tracking to Protection...the only difference is the FEEL you get from each...I don't like the 3/8" for doing Protection work...In fact I have a 3/4" X 30' Bio-thane lead that I got for Protection work...But I don't use it because I prefer the feel of my Nylon 30' Lunge line...The Nylon is very hard on your hands but after 40 years I'm used to it and prefer it for Protection...

the usual four foot leather lead with braided ends on training field
have a heavy duty 10 foot for agitation work with braided ends
I have been using my very fine thin but strong leather german style show lead for when we are out in service dog daily, I find it fits my hand nice and it is so soft and supple and he does not need anything more than that because his public behavior is very good, obedient, needs no corrections. My hands get painful using heavier leashes all day long and I can lay this one around my shoulder with him in down and not know it is there while paying for things as well as lay it across my lap while dinning out and he is in a proper down under the table. I love using the show lead for daily use and will always have one for it from now on but it might not hold up well if someone has a dog that needs more control.....

Dragonfly, I can relate. Maybe we should start and LAA (leash anonymous) club.
I have:
2- 6' double loop nylons
1- 10' single loop nylon
1- 4' braided leather (quickly becoming my favorite)
2 - 15' triple loop rope
1- 5' single loop nylon
1- slip nylon
2- 2 way split leads
1- 4 way split lead

My trial leash is a 1/2" x 3' burgundy leather leash with a ring in the handle so I can wear it for IPO trials. I've used it for several dogs and a lot of trials so it's like my good luck charm now. I don't care one way or the other about the actual quality of the leash (it was fairly cheap).
For walking/pottying and bringing dogs out for flyball, agility, lure coursing, and dock diving I use a 6' x 1" black biothane leash.
For trial tracking I use a 33' x 5/8" black biothane line.
For obedience training I use a 3/8" x 5' black biothane line (it's really thin and light, but strong, no handle on it so I just pinch the line where I want to hold it and the rest drags behind the dog, I just use this leash and not a tab).
For SV conformation I use a thicker 3/8" leather line, I think it's about 10' (bought it from Jeff Lund), just has a knot on the end. You need a longer and strong but fairly light and plain line for SV conformation.
For UKC conformation I use my obedience line (see above) or if it's a smaller indoor ring, a 3' thin black leather leash that matches my dogs thin rolled black leather conformation collar.

Like Dragonfry I've collected a few over the years, and different collars etc,
too. Because I'm now only involved with the one, older, dog, I'm down
to using only one of them generally these days. [Apart from his tracking
harness and longer line which still make an occasional appearance.]
I have a few 'working' leads, 6 foot ones with extra D rings, one double-
ended (ie 2 ends with clips); some nylon webbing, most bridle leather.
Nothing plaited, can't stand those, but I do have a couple of thick 'rope'
things, although rarely used. An 8ft leather Show lead for gaiting, not
used on this dog at all because he can't Show; it 'belonged' to my bitch Vida.
Now I'll give you a giggle: the one leash I use 'all the time' now with Taz is
a 4 ft webbing one, that matches his (flat) collar - they are Rogz design, in
grey camo etched with barbed wire ! It goes in the washing machine, and is
flexible for just going walking, or doing Obedience exercises, and it is comfortable
to hold, even in wet weather.
