I love the practicality of the leather slip collars for every day use.  Unfortunately my favorite one was chewed by a foster dog!! :(  I can't remember where I got it.  Any recommendations?  Thanks for looking.

I love mine and thought I had purchased them with some other stuff from Hallmark k9 but now I do not see any on their website.... I will try to figure out where got them for you or confirm they were from Hallmark.

Thank you SOOOO much! I saw that collar just before I posted here but was skeptical because it's so thin.  I don't want something really thick and non-pliable.  This will be an every day use collar to have tags attached to.  I will definately go this route unless someone has a bad experience with this collar.

I use the rolled leather collars for everyday use, and hang their tags on them. They don't flatten out the coats as much as regular collars, and are strong.

I do not care for the thick rolled ones, and I would never hang tags on a choke collar if that is the kind you are using like we are posting. The thin ones I posted will stretch out so go smaller size, and they are very sturdy, the dog listens on them as well because it is thin and fits behind the ear high on neck properly. I use one on my service dog anytime we are out. You can see it peeking out of his fur here.
I also use it on my large sable no problem:  they are both wearing them, but right now down low. As I have made mention they do stretch over time. wet it and let it dry and it will go back into shape, if too big can use sewing awl and shorten it.

Wanted to add, instead of tags on dog collar, I put them on ring of my in public leash. This way they are legally on dog in public, however not on the dog to get hung on anything.

You can get thinner rolled leather collars, they come in a couple different diameters.  I don't worry about my tags getting caught on anything because all my dogs collars are on loose enough to easily pull out of them just in case.

If you think so, it is not how tight the collar is. Please research it and reconsider.

I keep my collars on so loosely I can put my arm in them. If the tags get hung up on anything, the whole collar pulls right off. In over 30+ years of using this technique, I've yet to have a problem. If it aint broke don't fix it. What else could happen GSDNewbie?  Just curious, never too old to learn!
