This is not really a rescue, but this is the best place for this.

I came across a GSD on Craig's List.  The owner has been deployed and his family really does not know better about putting him up for "rehoming" on Craig's List.  For many on here, this seems like a great dog.  Here is the information.  The person that currently has the dog, needs to find him a home quickly, as the dog is bonding with his sister and this will result in a bad situation.

I think he would be good potential for IPO.  I can help do a temp test and possibly hold him for transport (depending on how well mannered he is indoors, as I cannot let him run with Baron or Max).

Looks like they title their dogs and check hips. 

I just went to the web site and clicked on the "pedigree" link for the 2 males they had listed.  I saw Hip information and title letters in the pedigrees.  Whether or not if the kennel did that themselves, I do not know how to tell that.

The ancestors in the pedigrees look to be mostly titled and hip/elbow checked but their dogs do not.

 Maximus is the dog in the bluebonnet field on the home page of the breeders site.  He has been retired (lol, guess so since he is the great grandfather).  I asked for the stud and bitches name for the dog for sale.  As soon as I have that I will post.

Please consider this dog.  She has him priced well enough to keep most of the rift-raff out, but she may also get desperate and start dropping the price.

 

Oh.  I just quickly glanced.  I am trying not to look too hard at dogs, as I have puppy itus and I do not need more dogs.
