Olive oil for dry skin on my German Shepherds.

Yes, Saxman, what about it ?
Were you wanting to know if it's any good for this
purpose ? Or where to buy some ? Or warn us
against using it ? Hard to tell from your post.
Some owners use it, for that problem, either in the diet
or by rubbing it into the skin. Myself, I don't prefer
it for that. I have been using Coconut Oil - so
are a lot of posters on here - and that, initially
helped a bit. But the effect seems to be wearing
off (my old boy is VERY prone to dry, itchy, scaly
areas of coat, it seems to get worse with age); and so
I might ease up on it for a while ... There are also
many purpose-made commercial products that are
supposed to be good for this problem. Or you can
try general conditioners, e.g. dried seaweed, and
see what suits your particular dogs. Or change their diet ?
As you don't say where you are, or why you mentioned it, its
difficult to say anything else
. { Apart from: Welcome !}
