I just heard on Good Morning America, that only 50,000 people have signed up thus far, and the expected number had been closer to 500,000 people enrolled at this point. This program is starting to sound preposterous to me. I was also talking to some friends, and locally, the finagling has begun to skirt the intent of the law. It seems if one works for the local government, they are being clever and only putting people on the books for 29.5 hours, to avoid their healthcare obligation to the worker. This is the tip of the boondoggle nightmare, I bet.

What did any body expect this to manifest as, other than a boondoggle ? The insurance companies are the only ones to benefit from this absurdity.

Why, PROGRESS of course! Oh, and er, "change"! I didn't vote for him. You will all have another chance soon enough. Insert Einstein's definition of insanity.

This administration cannot admit when they are wrong, about anything, much less fix it.

Interesting how I and others mentioned this coming last year.....
"the finagling has begun to skirt the intent of the law. It seems if one works for the local government, they are being clever and only putting people on the books for 29.5 hours, to avoid their healthcare obligation to the worker. "
My company started playing the games this year in anticipation of Obamacare.

I remember, fawn. And we were soundly ridiculed and called names for seeing the obvious outcome of this 'change' and 'progress'.

Get over it nothing is perfect in life. Move on and just get over it. There is a lot of good in this law whether parts of it stink or not.
