I'm looking for any tips or tricks you all might have to get rid of the doggy smell in your dog's bedding, etc. I generally wash in warm water with vinegar and detergent. Sometimes I wash it twice. I dry with bounce sheets. Still, their bedding smells like a dog after all that. I would love to know how to get things smelling a bit more fresh, especially when the dogs get a bath and they are momentarily fresh themselves.

Fabreez works for me, only after the beddings and the dog is clean. Also, I try to not wait too long between washing.

What are you washing the dogs in? An what are you feeding the dog? As food can make some dogs much stinkier, and i "Personally" think shepherds and rotties have a "Doggie" odor.
Just as normal and natural dogs, due to their naturally oilier coats.
I wash my pup in "fresh n clean oatmeal and baking soda shampoo", for great smelling pups. Most pet stores will carry it.

But for showing i wash my dog in Best Shot Shampoo.

When washing try a little bleach to help kill odors and get the bedding really clean.
I also wash my stuff in Tide as it really seems to get the bedding very clean.
Hope this helps.

I think warm water or even hot water would help get the bedding really clean. It's likely the oils from the dog's coat won't completely be removed by cold water.
I use a product called Odour Enzyme in the kennel. It's got the same ingredient as Febreeze, but in a much more concentrated form. Works great!

Wash bedding inTide with Febreeze, wash dog in Fresh N Clean, it has a wonderful, long lasting scent.

I do use Febreeze, and that helps. I usually wash the dogs in Buddy Wash, which seems to work really well with odor. They smell great for days. I just don't like to overwash my shepherd. He has allergies and his skin seems worse if I wash too often. Sometimes I switch it up and use Dr. Bronners lavender soap if I'm washing more frequently. They get a bath about once a month on average. Sometimes it's more often. My shepherd is definitely more stinky. My lab doesn't have much odor. Both are on a raw diet. I've noticed that my shepherd and the rescue guy staying with me both get kind of a doggy BO smell when they've been playing around outside. It's kind of like a sweaty smell and goes away after a little while. My lab never gets that way. I can try Tide and see if that helps, and I will also try hot water washes instead of warm water in the laundry. Thanks!

My girl smell like Bounce Fabric Softener. Probably because I use them in the dryer when I dry our comforters. Holy smokes yes, she naps on our bed.

Feeding coconut oil will cut down doggy odor (as well as shedding).
Adding several drops of melaleuca essential oil to your laundry soap will kill the odors in their bedding.

I've had good luck with Oxi Clean at 4x the recommended amount in warm water.
