The only relevant stat I've read from the SV in Germany was that 97% of dogs evaluated receive a "passing" hip grade -- a1, a2, or a3.

From what I've read/been told, an A normal is equal to OFA Good, an A2 is equal to OFA Fair, and A3 is equal to mild HD. Just what I've read!

However, I know of 2 cases of a3 dogs going OFA Excellent at older ages. So, I don't know that I would consider a3 as dysplastic. It does mean I'd want to re-evaluate. The SV, in Germany, considers it a breedable rating.

100 - 105 degrees:a2
90 - 100 degrees: a3
???
>105 degrees: a1
100 - 105 degrees:a2
90 - 100 degrees: a3
