I had the pleasure of attending the WUSV on Saturday and saw some dogs I really liked that didn't necessarily score high.  Was hoping others could chime in on dogs that they liked.

Lilo vom Heidhof - watched her protection routine and wondered if she was related to Sid v Haus Pixner, which happens to be her father.  I really like the aggression she brought.

Witz Eqidius - nice, powerful, clear headed protection.  Not the overly expressive, bouncy type prey dog.

Studsdal Milo - upbeat, happy obedience which he maintained throughout the routine.  I liked the video of his protection routine, and would want to see more of his work.

I agree Lilo was very nice. Life vom furstentum kaunitz was my favorite. I really liked the power he brought to the bitework. One of the few dogs that really attempted to stop the helper on the escape. His obedience was beautiful....and he is V rated....really a complete package and I am not even a GSD person.

Ronny van den Berghe with "Kummel van der Donnerbrucke"...

Undoubtedly my favorite dog of the tournament...Super dog with SUPER drives and attitude...

One word of the entire WUSV...I thought this was a very well run trial...Everything was on time with very few glitches...The field and stadium was beautiful and well coordinated throughout...

Remind me, was Kummel the dog who finally outed the sleeve at the same time the judge DQ'ed him?  I remember being disappointed that we didn't get to see him finish.

MFH27, No that was IPO v d Biezenhoeve. What a shame. He is a extremely powerful dog and preforms well, but it was not his day.

My favorites were in the following order, Glenn vom haus Valkenplatz, Ipo V D Biezenhoeve, Kummel V D Donnerbrucke and Grimm du Triangle Magique. All these were very balanced, not so anxious and very strong dogs.

There were some really nice dogs at the event....but my favorites in order were..... Life vom Furstentum Kaunitz, Glenn vom Haus Valkenplatz, Chris Spod Lazof, Hank vom Weinbergblick and Danger vom Juliet.
I spent Friday afternoon at the Penn Vet Working Dog Center and left for home early Sunday morning so didn't get to see the OB or protection work for several of the popular dogs Sad Smile.

Mfh.... Your description of Witz was exactly how I saw it. I recorded his routine and watched it last night. You are spot on. He was very clear headed and had some nice fight in him.

I wish I could have seen his obedience.
