Will someone please explain to me why
1993 VA1 Jeck vom Noricum, SchH3, FH, Kkl 1 pedigree was modified today by pedigree database user "leopard" user ID=48749,
29 September 2013 to :
2XVA1 Jeck vom Noricum, SchH3, FH, Kkl 1 ????

I see Jeck in the GSD VA List as the winner of the 1993 VA1 Title, is there something I don't know?

However, how does this change his pedigree database record?  From what I can see, based on the information respondents have provided, Jeck is still, as he was before, VA1, and not 2XVA1 as was today edited on his pedigree

I am positive Admins shall notice this post, make sure what the correct title should be and make necessary correction, maybe also contact the member who made the changes and ask for the reason. It is a positive reaction to notify when a wrong act is noticed.

The GSD VA List is intact and as far as I can tell nothing has changed in the records regarding VA1 Jeck vom Noricum, SchH3, FH, Kkl 1

1993 VA1 Jeck vom Noricum, SchH3, FH, Kkl 1 is the recorded winner for 1993;  after that year comes subsequent years and other dogs titled VA1.  I have no record that VA1 Jeck vom Noricum, SchH3, FH, Kkl 1 took the VA1 in another year besides 1993.

This is why I am questioning why his pedigree was modified today to reflect changes made to his pedigree, i.e. "2XVA1"  (29 September 2013) [please refer to my original post].

... this pedigree alteration on 1993 VA1 Jeck vom Noricum, SchH3, FH, Kkl 1 happened practically right before my eyes today, as I was working in my research of my own stud dog's pedigree and ancestry, aforementioned, I saw the change and instantly wondered why Jeck went from VA1 to 2XVA1

Please look at the "History of changes" link on Jeck's pedigree :))

I see on the Winsis-cat data base that he placed the following:

VA1 Bundessieger-Zuchtschau....Osterreich....1991.... AUSLAND (event type)....A-Timelkam (location)....01-08-1991 (date)......no Judge Listed for this event
VA1 Bundesseiger-Zuchtschau.... SV...............1993.........Dortmund (location).......08-27-1993 (date)...... H. Martin (judge)

Not sure what some of that stuff means. Maybe whoever changed it saw the two dates with a VA1 placing and assumed they both qualified for the title?

 

They do both qualify for the title.
