I have always been a fan of kennel van't Leefdaalhof. With the limited information provided I like the Tom line breeding over Javir. Their work and accomplishments speak for themselves. I like Tom's protection a little more than Javir. Tom attempts to stop the helper on the escape bites. Like any line breeding you are going to get the bad with the good. Can't wait to see who Ma and the potential bachelors are? Let us know who you choose.

Hi Steve,
interesting pedigrees.....when you put the mating together how much goes back to Troll v Nabarschaft. Just curious.

How does the health and hip/elbow history look?  Longevity, etc.  If possible I would also look into that.  Good luck whatever you decide,  Nan

Well, since the first two appear to be identical in terms of what the linebreeding will reflect, the decision between those two dogs would rest almost solely on the individual dogs themselves, and how they and Gina compliment one another as far as phenotype and temperament go, and perhaps also whether either dog has a 'track record' of what they've produced when bred not only with females similar to Gina but those markedly differing from her as well...it would be useful to see what's already been produced by them, good and bad.

The third pairing could be a jackpot with that 3-2 on Javir, or it could end up being your 'trial by fire' litter with every negative recessive being pulled out and displayed...Fate's way of testing you to see if you really want to breed dogs or not, as it were. [Whether it was 3-2 on Javir, or 3-2 on another dog would matter little--it's the degree of concentration of the genes, not any particular dog, to which I'm referring.]   The tighter you're breeding, the more correct both partners need to be, as well as their parents and grandparents, because you're less likely to get compensation from one partner for a weakness in the other when you breed close.

None of the three would be a bad combination, I should think; it's more a matter of what you're looking to produce and what your buyers are looking to purchase.

Also the possibilities of the "UNKNOWN"  lurking in those genes.  But good luck.  NAN

Thanks for the interesting comments. i thought there may have been more seeing that there are a lot of Breeders on this website.
The Males are in the order i have put above
The first Male is
BOMBER vom WOLFSHEIM

HANK VOM WEINBERGBLICK

KUMMEL von der DONNERBRUCKE

is the third Sire. the Female is my GINA vom BONAUER WALD

Gustave
you mention TROLL von der BOSEN NACHBARSCHAFT
He is The father of Yoschy on the Maternal side of Gina and he is the father of Aly on the Paternal side Gina is bred 4-5 on TROLL.
KUMMEL is again bred on both Parenal and Maternal line to TROLL the same  as Gina but you go back another Generation
Regards Health and Temprament All three Sires are a 1normal Hips and Elbows as is the Female Gina. The lines through the dogs is great regarding Hips and Elbows so that should not be a problem but we cannot see what is not there.
Temprament Two of the three Dogs i know is great those two being HANK and KUMMEL, and there work rate is absolutely top class. Regards Comformation wise HANK and KUMMEL are V Rated and KKL,  BOMBER is V rated. Gina is S.G and she is KKL.
She is a real Character herself She is a tough Female obedient and a dog which listens to you. She is herself and if you give her a hard correction she will in turn have a nip at you, but we put that down over here to just being a woman no disrespect to the Ladies; It shows the Dog has Spirit and without that you cannot go anywhere. give her a pat and she carries on as if it never happened. I think any of the three dogs would be a good Mate but i lean towards one
HEXE
You are correct the JAVIR Mating could produce something special or it may go the other way. now i have never bred a litter of Pups in over 60 plus years of keeping Dogs but i have bred Racing Pigeons to win at the Top Level for very near the same time as keeping dogs and since 1988 i have cultivated a Line Inbred family in two parts meaning two different Sires for all those years i can twist the two lines together or bring one line in and not the other or i can use a cross but the sex of the cross is always Female. they have kept me at the top of the pigeon sport for so many years now by breeding this way there are pitfalls but the rewards can be greater. Regards the Javir mating The Line is sound enough to take it. However time enough to think about it. There is one way which when i see a dog working on the Sports field you can in part see what the charactor and the Temperament of the Dog is; It is on the Protection phase when the dog is really up for it then the strengh of how that dog can control its self comes to the fore most dogs cannot handle it; I know two of the above males can and i really find this a good pointer
