So about a month ago my old rescue pit decided to attack my neighbors tractor tire the giant, rear one.. Here is her before and after pics..

And a month later...

Flattened one side her head.. Took her to vet, he x rayed, but unless I wanted to do reconstructive surgery he said might as well leave it alone.. I have no idea how it didn't kill the dumb dog..

She was a beautiful bitch. Sure didn't look old, or like a rescue.

Funny story about her.. When I worked for animal control, I picked her up from a really bad part of the city, had just had pups, skinny.. She sat at the shelter for a month, she was such sweet dog, but nobody would even look at her to adopt, I even paid to have her fixed and adoption fee, so she'd be free.. So my supervisor said it was her last day, I had the needle drew up ready for her, but couldn't put her down.. Took her home, have had her for over 5 years now.. Last year when we moved to AL, our new neighbor saw her in our pasture, and Nessie was barking at her, but she does that like saying hello.. Well dumb broad called the dipshit deputy out, told him she'd never seen the dog, must be a stray, he shot her ON my property, she ran and hid under my horse trailer.. I get home few hours later, she comes out with hole in her chest.. X rayed her, bullet missed everything, came out her stomach.. I brought her bloody with drains and dripping crap into the sheriff's office, threw a fit.. He came to my house the next day with a check for my vet bill.. I was so pissed.. This dog has been in a high kill shelter, shot, and ran over by tractor.. She has some luck, I guess LoL..

That's amazing you got a check and not a summons. Any law I came in contact with, did as they pleased, and didn't answer for anything.

Well he messed up by having a few witnesses that actually saw him shoot my dog on my property.. Then he just got in his truck and drove off.. No trying to notify the home owner, that there was a shot dog under their horse trailer, no trying to locate injured dog, nothing.. I worked in animal control in California, I was appalled at their half assed procedures.. I mean, if she was a stray, you just shoot it, and leave it injured on someone's land, without trying to contact anyone?? I'm glad he did leave her, but dang.. And how do you just shoot a barking dog? She was on private property, and he never tried to find out who owned the land or dog.. He even admitted to me that because she was a "pit" he didn't want to deal with her.. She is the biggest sissy dog, she lays belly up on stranger's feet, she is the worst guard dog LoL..
Here's a pic of gun shot.. Vet said she was lucky she was so fat

In her better days LoL

Maybe she is really a cat with 9 lives (3less now). Glad she has a caring place to lay her head. :)

Lucky girl... a lot of luck for one dog - it´s time to take care now!

She is one lucky dog. It breaks my heart how the general public has no regard or human decently for the pits. Any I have Ben around are nothing more then big love bugs.

Those pictures are awful! Is she ok, other than the flattened skull? Is it as bad as it looks or is it a lot of muscle loss accentuating the damage? Her head looked pretty muscular before.
Abhay...my 2 are en route to Simon's first and Seven's second ADBA show right now. Fingers crossed no one laughs at my baby and I have to drive all that way to kick them in the shins.

If the Judge knows anything about dogs, both Simon and Seven, will win their class. Simon is the quintessential ADBA Conformation Picture. He should win everything.
