You must use a sweetener to mix with either of the medicines--using a 1cc syringe pull up the med. first then the sweetener and give to the back of the mouth---the medicines are to bitter to use alone--this is what causes them to throw up---- Using dyne is the best but you could use honey if no dyne is available --dyne is the best to use--this is a sugar base energy builder also. Just as honey is.--dyne tastes good--you just can not use these medicines alone.

I used toltrazuril and lost all but 1 pup in the litter, my vet said this med is for livestock and too harsh on pups. my friend also used it and wound up with 2 very sick litters of pups. I'll never use it again. just wanted to warn you

I've used Met. dozens of times in pill form. No idea why you
get it as a liquid in the States. No dog ever threw up.
But I'll take the honey tip, to try for coating wormer pills or paste !
Thanks. Why DO they make wormers so disgusting ? Can
they really not add a disguise at the manufacturing stage ?
Same presumably for these two drugs.
