Without any comment regarding anything else in the advertisement, I just can't with this statement from a current ad that's running here:
"I am not a breeder and do not have puppies year round. I produce one or two top litters a year and price them so a good family can buy the best without paying 2,000 that a breeder with the same bloodlines would charge."
Hate to break it to you, my friend, but you ARE a breeder. A small-scale one, but a breeder none the less. You breed your male dog to your female dog, the female has puppies--lo! you are a breeder.

LOL!

Slam, I know, right? Even more amusing is that somehow, simply stating a fact was disliked by two folks. Sure, sure, nobody would use a post-rating option merely to express their dislike of the person who made the post, and not the content of the post! Wonder if it makes thing easier, retaining such childlike reactions in life...

You have 3 dislikes by the time I post this ! (None from me, I
hasten to add !).
You were of course absolutely spot on with your OP, I suspect
the advertiser may be innocently regurgitating the AR mythology
rather than trying to deceive buyers. You know, the line that
goes "All breeders of dogs = evil puppy mills"; ergo, a hobby
breeder cannot possibly be (self)defined as a 'breeder' ...

That's like saying, "I only smoke half a pack of cigarettes a day because I'm not a smoker!"

Or: "I can't possibly be pregnant, I'm a virgin !"
