Why do people who own dogs feel it is okay to allow their dogs to run free and aggravate others? I understand the living in the country, wanting to let your dog run around, but when your dog is a nuisance to your neighbors, don't you think you ought to keep it up? My trailer baby, drug head neighbor's dog has killed a few of my chickens, brings it's fleas and pisses all over my flowers.. Now I've asked those people to keep him home, many times.. I started letting my male GSD jump on him and run him off, so he has been keeping himself out of my yard.. So now they got 2 new dogs.. They know my female does not like other dogs at all, so smart thing to do is walk down the road in front of my house with your dogs loose.. The new little dog ran into my yard, up onto my porch, just as I was taking my girl out.. She snatched the dog before I even saw the dog up on my porch. Now they are hollering my dog is vicious and wanting me to take their dog to the vet. Now if it happened on public property, I'd gladly take it. But since I've told them that my dogs will attack strange dogs, and have complained to them about their other dog killing my chickens, and causing trouble it's on them.. They are always asking to borrow stuff, asking for me to keep their kids, all kinds of crazy stuff.. Why do people act this way? If my dog was on someone's porch and their dog attacked it, I wouldn't even think about asking someone to take my dog to the vet.. I don't even need to leave my yard for drama!! LoL

Ever think about moving?

This is more about people and less about dogs.
Why do people act this way?
9 of 10...........................................
I am in the country and I've found the same people no matter where your at.
I've tried everything with bad neighbors but honestly nothing has done much good.
Logic didn't work, lawyers didn't work, kindness and patience didn't work, I got the best results from the promise of violence very well worded and on the razors edge.
I have been visited by the Sheriff more than a few times and they seem to be at a loss, waiting for a line to be crossed.
You must know your limitations and where that line is, lest you cross it and it blows up in your face.
My advice,
begin video taping.

Moons, I thoroughly believe in the saying, "Living well is the best revenge." I'm talking about movin' on UP! Those degenerates are to be pitied, then.

It's an option yes, but not always possible.
Mainly you can't run from your problems.

"In these here parts", it's understood that if your dog becomes a nuisance on someone else's property, there's a good chance of it being shot.

Moons, they are the one's with the problems! LOL Why on earth would I bring them with me? The fact is you can't make them move, but nothing stops you from improving your situation.
The last straw for us, was when our car was stolen from our driveway of our apartment. We went house hunting and never looked back. Those degenerates just stayed where they were, being what they were. If that's what you call running, well, I call it being smarter and more fortunate than them.
They have all the time in the world and no inclination to change. It just makes your life a constant drama hell, and yes, one tends to get to know LE and AC, very well.
I understand it isn't your option, you are invested in your home. If she can't move, and they won't move, well, camera's and documentation is the way to go, I agree with that.

shoot 'em....and than take their dog to the shelter....j/k...
I had to move because of neighbors who were renters, 3 years of stress and trying to fight it didn't do one damn thing, unfortunately here criminals have more rights than we do....
but i must say, we are much better off now all the way arround....house is bigger, more land, paid less for it and no stress...
