24 month old German Shepherd just had his x-rays done to send to OFA.  I am looking for some opinions about the film.  Does anyone think he had some sort of a back injury?  The vet who took the films stated he believed there to be an injury.  Also, what do you think the OFA will rate this dog?  Thank you so much for providing feedback and opinions.

It's hard to say with this picture, it's not the best quality. I'm guessing fair to good? Hard to tell with this picture. Where did he think there was an injury?

Best guess OFA good. If the OFA readers see anything of concern with the spine, they will probably mention that in their report.

Hips look good and should pass OFA. He does look to have Transitional vertebrae though.

I am the owner of this dog.  jlb4yoda, thank you for posting this for me.  The vet never wrote down the dogs microchip number on the OFA application, is this needed?

You're welcome Soloy.  Microchip # does not need to be on the film.  Registration # or name, date film was taken and name of clinic.  :)  But the form you send in should be noted that the microchip was confirmed.
