Well, the chicken is the really confused one.. It was the only one to hatch, momma hen left it.. It was following my old man around the yard, followed him right inside, so I let him keep it lol.. 
I know I can't be the only one whose dog brings friends home?? :)

My second GSD didn't like much other than a good meal, but he was crazy about birds. He adopted a baby robin that was injured, laid next to it in the yard for 3, 4 days and actually brought his toys to the baby. One morning the little robin was gone and Blitz searched the yard for a few days; I think he was looking for the little guy.

If he teaches it to peck and scratch i'll be impressed! He is apparently really tolerant to dumb blonds. :D
