Please post vet name, clinic/hospital name, and contact info for Veterinarians who have done a good job producing OFA x-rays.
This topic is only for posting competent vets and to be used as a reference for all of us.

Not only is Dr. Tatum good at taking x-rays, and her opinions are always the same as the OFA's.
She is not too eager to send a dog to specialists for surgery.
She has excellent personal and communication skills and will answer all questions without making an owner feel stupid.

Very experienced in OFA and his opinion is usually right in line with OFA.
He has worked to the Police dept dogs for many years and is knowledgeable with high drive working dogs.
He is also an Ortho surgeon.
Very nice and down to earth guy.
Sorry i don't have any X-rays to post, but i hopefully will next month.

I have known Dr Collins for over 3 years; he was in another small town about 1.5 hrs away and people drive from OK City and all over southern Oklahoma for his services. He is great at x-rays. he works with you, he's not into unnecessary surgery and has a very high success rate with AIs. When I say works with you, I mean he sits down and talks to you like you are a human and have sense. He deeply cares about the animals, gives breeder discounts and is very huggable.

Dr. Garber has been here for many years. He does good xrays and doesn't mind
you asking questions. He was trained by and actually started out with Dr. Keller.
Dr. Keller is/ was at OFA in Columbia Mo. The last I heard Dr. Keller was there,
it's been awhile though. They are the main vets that have been doing all the GSD
xrays for many many years. I used them for several years when I first started out
with GSD and moved more than an hour away. Using them again after 15 yrs. and
they gave me a discount !

I have only met her for a seminar she held on hip X-rays some years back.
But she is really a great vet, even my vet recommends her for people with reproduction needs or issues.
