16 month old female. SLxWL. Please Critique.

I have a 16 month old female. She is showline x workingline. I know that the stacks aren't the best, but it was just me. I will try to get some help so that they look better but for now, critique my girl?

I know she looks a little long here, but I think thats because of how she's carrying her head.....

No - she's carrying her head correctly; she IS a bit long ! Teeth Smile

I don't think she is perfectly constructed, but she is a very
pretty girl. Nice and healthy looking; noted that you refer
to her as a 'dork' for looking at the camera, clearly you love
the fool ! That's the important thing. Does she do any work
or sport, if so how is she coming along ? Have fun.

I'd like that head up more. Head down doesn't make for a pleasing picture.

She is slightly over stretched in the stack. Overall a pretty bitch. Could use a deeper turn of stifle, forearm is beautiful, wonderful forechest, gorgeous broad thigh. Wither is decent, could be higher perhaps, croup is short and could be a little better angled, good tail set. Nice color and pigment, looks very well cared for :)

I think she is quite beautiful actually. If she has substantial solid drive and nerve and is healthy, I'd say you have quite a nice bitch! :-) I'm jealous! :-) she is very moderate in her looks to me, yes she is a little long, but not weak looking in the back. Just makes me like the SLxWL crosses even more every day.

What do you all think of the shoulder blade and neck?

I have difficulty with defining angles and lines on coated GSDs, I like her, she's beautiful, from these pictures the neck is substantial but angle of neck to body isn't very correct, shoulder blade is a bit forward placed. That is what I think I see but don't count much on that, I am not at ease with coated GSDs.

I know her back leg could have been pulled a little further, but today she was pretty fed up with me trying to stack her and would only hold for about 30 seconds.

Any tips on improving her stack?

I love her head and pigment, she is long IMO. In the last photo I can see her pasterns a little better and they look better than I first thought. I cannot see her paws and I am very particular for strong tight paws and dislike flat ones so that is just me :) Length of hock versus length of leg seems a bit long for me. She would be nicer if higher in the withers and a less steep croup. She has body, but is she agile? Nice chest and upper arm as previously stated. Would wish some changes in her rear assembly.

I am not one that should be critquing, so I won't, but I have a 4 month old WLxSL cross and if she turns out to be nearly as pretty as your girl I will be thrilled!
