There is a bit of wiggle room left to this "claim". I especially do not agree that anorexia is genetically related to autism, either, as concluded in a follow up article on the same page. Beware of quack science claims. The whole vaccine issue and autism was bad science and it wasted research dollars. This topic header is most definitely, jumping the gun.

Yes, the title of this post is a tad misleading. All of the peer reviewed scholarly journal articles indicate results so far are promising for designing a reliable and valid test for autism in the future. The article in The Journal of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry - September 2012 (Vol. 51, Issue 9, Pages 934-944.e2, DOI: 10.1016/j.jaac.2012.07.007) is interesting. The first article link (dailymail.co.uk) is just another example of media printing something before thoroughly researching the subject matter.
