12yr old white German Shepherd dumped in Baldwin Park, CA shelter...URGENT - Page 1

What kind of person could dump a sweet 12yr old senior boy at a shelter?!? Gosh people make me sick.  This guy deserves to live out his senior years somewhere he is loved...not die in a cold shelter.  I am local and can transport, but I cannot foster as I have no way to quarantine and a pregnant bitch at home.  Can anyone help him out?  There are already pledges on facebook, but no commitments.  Breaks my heart.

They dump the seniors, because they are unable to do the right thing and return the loyalty the dog has given during his life by giving them a proper ending by their side. One, it is expensive to care for seniors and or put them down and dispose of them and this dog does not look like it was properly cared for. Two, the dog starts being hard to care for because of biological messes and they refuse to deal with it. People are awful in general and if I could take every senior and provide them with care, love and dignity to their last day I would.
