LadyFrost

by LadyFrost on 05 August 2013 - 13:08

last weekend we heard a cat somewhere in the back of our property that has thick evergreen shrubs, my husband came out and called his cat and she came right in, so that was it...we didnt think much about it...This Sunday we heard it again so went to investigate into the evergreen bushes just to find this tiny, tiny kitten....he is skin and bones you can feel all his ribs, you can see his hip bones i bet he would not have made it through another day or two....once he ate and drank he would not stop crying and unless someone was holding him or he was sitting on someone..so after hours and hours of one on one attention we got a kittysitter....Bailey....kitten slept all night w/o making a sound...

Awwwe, how sweet. What are you going to call your newest "rescue"? How about Escher? There is a certain odd symmetry to that kitty! Cat

Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....we are...i mean i am trying so hard not to keep him...4 dogs and 2 cats is a lot so no name yet....i am hoping to put fliers up and down the street and see if anyone will claim him...since 3 out of 6 of my current animals came from animal shelter this one will not be going to animal shelter, that is not even an option...so unless someone claims him by the end of the week he might be getting a name....because once you name them, they never leave...LOL...

i do like your suggestion.....;)

I agree.........it's to late.......your already attached whether you realize it or not Wink Smile

I had the same thing happen to me the day before Thanksgiving about 4 years ago it was 32 degrees out and drizzling.......heard what I thought was a bird in the parking lot of a feed store.
When I came back out I still heard the sound, so started investigating where it was coming from......I finally pin pointed the sound coming from an empty horse trailer, that was parked, with a for sale sign stuck to it. My first thought was that someone had accidently locked the kitten in the trailer.....but no.....I found this tiny kitten sitting on top of the tire under the wheel well of the trailer. When I picked her up she immediately started purring and quit crying.........She has been the best Kitty I've ever owned.......and her name is........Cricket

Very cool Ladyfrost the kitten seems to be a purrfect fit. I had a cat that lived for 27 years and am not ready to commit to getting another one. Cats have a way of finding you, I picked up a smaller kitten in the middle of the street that had a long line of cars driving over it during rush hour. I stopped my car and took it in and had everyone behind me cussing me out and flipping me off. I was relieved when a coworker took the  kitten into his home. I was helping my niece as she went to university and as I was leaving a tiny kitten stepped out in front of my truck. It was my birthday and the kitten was a calico as my cat was and I thought that someone was trying to tell me I needed a cat. The kitten weighed less than a pound and my sister took it in, whenever I go to my sisters house the cat hunts me down and hangs around with me.
