Too cute. I do not use one; mostly because I do not want any surprise creatures.

No doggie door at my house because it would be used by roaches and skeetes. I get enough of them anyway.

nope....we used to have one for unfinished basement so outside cat could come in and stay warm or cool...well...we had to nail that down, in a week she would have the floor covered in dead bodies...snakes, rabbits, birds, rats, moles, squirrels....we had it all... and it wasn't like she would just bring whole dead animal in, it was gutted, half the time skinned it was soooo gross!!!! and if you ever heard a rabbit scream in the dead of night you know what i mean....

Yep, or skunks, or possums, or armadillos, or neighbor's dogs. Not to mention creepy crawlies, like rats, mice, snakes. Too many uninvited guests.

Not to mention other cats.
Unless you can install one of those doors where your cat
wears a magnet on its collar which 'unlocks' the flap only
for him / her ?
Another good reason for NOT having a permanent cat-biscuit
feeder, too !
