TIME IS GETTING CLOSE .....WHO DO YOU PLACE IN THE VA'S

I am very impressed with Enosch von Amasis and his progeny to date seems exceptional of course I predict very high VA

Iron del Seprio contender > looking very impressive....

what are your thoughts

I'd like to see balanced dogs with strong straight hocks and pasterns, a dogs that can work like a working dog should place in all VA spots.

Totally agree with you SitasMom

Too many of the VA dogs are very loose in hocks and elbows not firm, and working ability should be much more profound.   VA should be the elite in Confirmation, working and progeny, Progeny should also be considerable in numbers and showing much promise, after all it is the progeny who carry on the genes.

Good to see that all entries in Progeny groups must complete the entire classes at the Sieger show....not just entered in progeny groups to boost a Stud dogs numbers, but to be judged for their ability and quality also.
This is excellent move by SV.

Question for you showline folks: Is there a limit to the number of times a dog can win VA1? Looking back at the Historical VA list, you see plenty of 2x winners but never more than that?Has a dog who came in VA1 the year before ever placed lower than that the next year?

Leo is a lovely dog, but he is limited in the number of progeny he has at the moment, perhaps this will have an effect on his placing, I am not quite sure what qualifies dogs for VA but progeny would have to be a major consideration and I think he is up against a few that are outstanding in this area......but you never know what the Judges are likley to do...look at last year....
