My sleeve is just about worn out and I'm shopping for a new one.

What is your favorite sleeve for a 2yo dog learning protection work and why?

Our club has puppy sleeves for all levels, but we need a more advanced sleeve for older dogs and trials.

In advance, thank you for your advice.

I've always like Gappay, nice fit, easy to make a proper presentation for me, comfortable, light,  they hold up to a lot of dogs for a long time.  Assuming you change covers and care for it.

There was a Euro Joe model I liked as well, but I don't know the specific model number and that was a while ago.

I currently have one of the hard arms from leerburg.  It has a bit more room in the arm than the Gappay, which is nice for colder weather when I might have a long sleeve on.  The gappay got a bit tight sometimes in the cold weather we have up here.  My only complaint with the leerburg arm is that it was a bit hard at first, but has broken in nicely and is holding up very well.  I'd recommend it too.

My previous was a Ray allen international trial sleeve and i went thru 3 of them.  Felt very comfortable, light etc, but the quality is nothing I would purchase again.  It broke, they sent another, it broke, they sent another at only 80% and then it broke again. Rivets would pop out the plastic barrel broke twice where the handle inserts.  I fixed the last one myself, then all the rivets up top came out.  The Gappay and the one from Leerburg are holding up much better under much heavier work loads.
