I just wanted to call attention to the important of reading packaging labels (which we all know) and how this helped me out today. I was at my local store, looking at some new dog treats they started carrying. They were the AKC endorsed "Duck Jerky" treats  in the green bag with the Corgi on it (I Googled them on Amazon.com and they sell for $10.99 a bag). When I looked on the list of product information, these treats were "treated with irradiation" and "Made in China". AKC's endorsements were all over the package stating how wonderful they were and how they supported them. Terrible!!!  I wouldn't ever feed my dog something made in that type of process or made in China, a country that doesn't have the same outlook on food treatment that we do.We all remember how that worked out for dog food a couple of years ago. Can anyone say dangerous chemicals? I'm sorry for the rant, but would like everyone to know what a "quality" product this is.  The packaging is very deceiving and if someone didn't take time to read the label , they might not know what they are feeding.
