As ethical breeders we try to keep track of all our puppies, even as they get older. This girl was sold to someone that advertised and resold her here on the PDB. We were never given the opportunity to get her back. This litter recently turned a year old and we tried to contact the owner. She informed us the person she sold the dog and the dog was ran over by a car several days after her new owners bought her. we asked her for contact information so we could verify it and she refused to give it to us. we asked her to contact them and have the new owner contact us. She refused.  We informed her since the puppy had never been registered, we were notifing AKC that the dog was deceased. Now she is changing her story and will not respond to any of our attempts to contact her again.  I have strong doubts that this girl is actually deceased. My thoughts are other papers maybe used on her so it shows someone else as the breeders.

I am hoping that the person who bought this dog from the advertisement that was listed here will respond to us so we can finds out the truth about what really happened to Uzi.  This is the pedigree and Picture I submitted when Uzi was still with us. We only want to know the truth.

Thinking Did the pup sell for more the second time around?

by Hutchins on 05 July 2013 - 18:07

I have no idea what the puppy was sold for.  Like I said, we were not notified it was being sold again.  Had I known, I would have gotten her back.  We learned of it after the fact.

I didn't buy or sell it but curious how you would have stopped them from selling it unless you were willing to buy it back at what they were selling it for

Unless you were a joint owner or had a contract with a buy back clause?  There is no fraud involved.

Wasn't trying to stop them from selling the dog.  We are always willing to buy the dog back but we were not given the opportunity.  Had we been given the chance, I wouldn't be looking for her today because she would be here with us.

If you are willing and want  to buy back any puppies you sell? Then put it in the contract.
as a right of refusal.

I have learned that is only as good as the person signing it.  People will sign and agree to anything to get whatever it is they want. Sad but true..

YAY, we found Uzi!!. Her new owners contacted us!   She was sold to a very nice couple who are very pleased with her. She is now spayed and is being trained in personal protection. She was sold as a registered dog but no registration paper were given, only copies. They were told she could be registered with that.  This was their first registered dog and did not know exactly how it was done. After talking with a trainer and finding out the truth, several months later, they received the original registration paper.

So what I suspected was accurate. Uzi being deceased is a lie. She is very much alive. She does however have a quirk that developed along the way. Such as, a fear of anyone having boots on.  Can only imagine how that developed.  I have to wonder what makes some people tick. I also wonder why this person being a Licensed trainer felt the need to lie when we asked for the truth about Uzi.  Her owners now are so excited to learn what we can share with them.

A happy ending to finding Uzi, and hopefully the beginning to a relationship with Uzi's new family.

Pictures of Uzi to come Uzi.
