I am doing some research and need help with a pedigree for Ferina vom Haus Christa. I am interested in the pedigree back as far as 7 generations. I recognize alot of the show line dogs but am unfamiliar with if some of the dogs in there are working line-I suspect they are. Many of you know pedigree's better than I do and would appreciate any input. Thank you.

In any pedigree going back as far as you have, you are most likely to see dogs who look like working bloodlines, but I see few who really are. Certainly, many of these older dogs were born and bred before the major show lines of today were initiated. The fun thing is to get someone to provide you photos of all these dogs, as I have done with all my dogs. One often finds some very interesting strutures, breed surveys etc. Essentially, you dog is show lines because one can not really count on the genetic contribution showing from so far in the past.

sorry, I wish to know which are working line. If the dog listed was before the working /show "war"..no disrespect intended, then I would like to know that also.

Gonna have to agree with Dox on that one. Quick question: Are Weinerou (sp?) dogs Show dogs, or Working dog? I mean no "flaming the embers" I am just curious, as I do see one of those, in her 5 gen, I think.
