Ivan Balabanov seminar cost, anyone been recently? - Page 1

I was wondering if anyone who has attended or had thought about attending an Ivan seminar in the last 18 months would mind sharing the per day fee and the number of days that the seminar was held. If you'd rather email me the info that would great as well. Thanks for the help. -Calvin

Last summer in Ohio it was a 3 day event. I forget the cost, but it was within the norm.

Cledford, I have never attended one of Balabanovs' seminars but his prices are generally in the range of $125-$150 per day for handlers with a single dog. This is not out of the ordinary for people like him, Bernhard Flinks etc. What is important is to know how many people will actually be participating. If you spend the money, you will want to benefit directly with one on one time from these people. Often spectator spots are available and are also fee based, but much cheaper. They are a good way to attend and learn, and then see if next time you might like to participate.

Calvin I hosted Ivan last year and I think the per handler fee was approx $250 per person for 3 days. That barely covered fees with Ivan costing $1,000+ per day (up to 15 handlers). This is excluding hotel + accomodations If you have specifics questions on trying to host him and need help with the numbers feel free to email me I have hosted a few seminars now so maybe I can help somehow if you have a few questions
