Hello.
Can somebody tell me about SV Judge Peter Arth? Is he a breeder? If he is, what¿s the kennel name?I want to know more about him. What kind of dogs he prefer? Thank you

Peter Arth is an excellent SV Judge, Körmeister and Trial judge as well. He does rarely breed. He prefers dogs who meet the standard and he will accept no politicing from people wanting their dogs to be placed high if the dog does not deserve it.
The best way to learn about the differences between judges, slight as many of those differences may be, is to enter shows or watch. I see no benefit in trying to figure out what a particular judge supposedly likes or does not like. Most of the time people have no idea what they are talking about anyway.

If you have nice showlines you should do well under him.

Ourf old club used to keep a card file listing preferences of different judges, but it was probaly discarded after left and the club disbanded. We even noted food/beverage preferences pre/post-event entertainment, tourism/hospitality-related preferrences like staying in hotels vs. private homes, places they'd like to visit while they're in the area, and family members & dogs names, all in addition to event related issues.
Unfortunately we never had Peter Arth as our guest and I don't know him personally so none of this helps you much ;) Having working lines, sables a-plenty, we plan to invite known working-line-friendly judges to our events in future.

I showed under him summer before last. He is a very fair and honest judge. My family even transported he and his son back and forth to the motel so were able to visit with them. We had an enjoyable time with them. I would certainly show under him again. (I showed a showline under him, didn't have my working line girl at that time.)
