Red Sable

by Red Sable on 30 May 2013 - 14:05

As most of you know I work with race horses.  I work with two other older men in their early sixties.
They like their booze, have very colourful language, just average guys, who btw don't believe in anything that they can't see!  or should I say didn't....

Last week, I left early, as we were done early, around 11:00 a.m.  They  stayed behind to have a few drinks in the walk in room, which is on the lower floor.  Upstairs is a hay loft, but we also built a fancy office, wood walls and floors, a small ktichen, bathroom, T.V. etc. up there too.

Al says to Bob, " do you hear those footsteps?"  Bob says, "Are you crazy?  There is no one else here."  Then... Bob hears them too, up above in the office, plain as day.
Both are scared silly and run out the door, Al first and Bob so close behind him, that if Al had stopped, all you'd see is the bottom of Bobs shoes.  (His words not mine lol)

So, the next day they tell a few their story and of course no one takes them seriously, but they are dead serious!  and terrified!
Everyone tells them it must have been a cat or something, but they insist it is a person walking up stairs.

So, yesterday, I left early again, same time 11:00 a.m. and this time another man who  Bob is training a horse for is there too,(now 3 of them) and sure enough their ghost/spirit comes back, and they hear it again.

I know what I believe it is, however,  they all think it is a ghost of horsemen past.

RedSable,
Did anyone ever think possibly someone was actually up there?
A thief perhaps, or a stable bum.

Grown men running from a noise?
Sounds more like a child's bed time story I thought.

60's not so bad....:(
