With deep sadness in my Heart I had to let Zico cross over. He had been failing the past two weeks and we really couldn't find out why, except that he was 13.5 yrs old.
I held him in my arms and told him how much Rob and I loved him  as he peacefuley .slip away.I will always love and miss you.
You were such a blessing in my life and want a  kind soul no matter want came your way.Another sad loss to the GSD.
RIP my boy

I'm very sorry to hear your sad news. Run free, good boy.

Zico is surely running freely at the Rainbow Bridge now, his body healthy and young again. 13.5 years is a long time but not long enough when it comes to a beloved friend. I'm sorry for your loss. Thinking of you during this difficult time. Rest easy sweet Zico. You were well loved and will be remembered fondly, with tears in our eyes from the happiness you brought into our lives!Rose

I'm so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you as it is so deeply painful to lose a much loved friend and family member. 13.5 years is a nice long life for a GSD, but they just never live long enough... God speed beloved Zico

Sorry for your loss.

"A good dog never dies. He always stays. He walks besides you on crisp autumn days when frost is on the fields and winter's drawing near. His head is within our hand in his old way."   -Mary Carolyn Davies
