Here is Ruger the day I brought him home and him at 16 months

He looks like a nice, black German Shepherd.
Would you care to tell us a little bit about him.
Do you do any sport with him, Is he a real member of the family.
He has a very nice pedigree, one that also would lead me to believe he is a very active dog.
How is his temperment, personality? Do you just love him and feel like you have the greatest dog in the world?
That is how I feel about my dogs. I think I have the best damn dogs out there.
I would be lost without my dogs. My dogs "live a life" with me. They are part of my everyday from the moment I wake up, until I go to sleep .
Although others will disagree, but I think I just have fantastic dogs, the best of all of them.

He is a bi-color I'm doing schutzhund with him and he seems to really enjoy it.He is definitely a member of the family he lives in the house and vacations with us tomorrow he will be heading to the river with us for memorial weekend

funny, I always thought he was entirely black, are the brown parts behind the legs?

when he was smaller I thought he was black also but at around 3 months we noticed brown in between his toes heres a couple more pics not the best but it shows his color

Dawulf so you think hes not a bi-color? Hans and Jiri saw him and said he's a bi-color now I am really confused

looking at the pictures of the hind legs, I would say bicolor. Unless you see him from the rear, one would guess solid black though. Interesting.
